Thursday morning, up at 6:30 out the door 7:15. A quick stop for fuel and I am pulling onto I 75 by 7:30. I usually avoid Interstates but want to get a jump on the day and decide to ride it to Ocala. An hour and a half later I am pulling into Big Daddy Don Garlits Drag Racing museum in Ocala. I have been here once before, 1991. This is a nice break, about an hour or so of looking around and taking pictures. There are 3 rooms in the main building and a gift shop , added in 1994 is a second building full of classic cars. well this has been a fun stop, but it's time to get back on the road,top off the tank and go.
I leave town on route 441, I will follow this route all the way to Pigeon forge. But tonight I stop in Dublin Ga. about 365 miles for the day. I found a nice steak house and have dinner,,steak and broiled shrimp,,,yup,,thats a great way to end a long day.
